Pine Bluff police investigating deadly shooting at Alokab Super Stop

Pine Bluff police seek public help to find man wanted for 1st Degree Battery

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – A shooting incident occurred in Pine Bluff early Sunday morning, leaving one person dead and three others wounded. The violent episode took place at approximately 12:41 a.m. in the parking lot of Alokab Super Stop on N. University.

Witness accounts, including one from an officer present at the scene, depict a chaotic scene. The officer reported observing a sizable crowd congregated in the parking area when, suddenly, multiple individuals began firing shots. Two male suspects, identified by the officer as actively participating in the shooting, hastily entered a vehicle and attempted to escape.

A collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies led to a high-speed chase, which culminated in the apprehension of both male suspects. Sadly, out of the four individuals shot, one succumbed to his injuries. Another man is in critical condition, while the two remaining victims are reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Pine Bluff police are  urging anyone with pertinent information regarding this incident to come forward.
