Pine Bluff police investigating death of 14-year-old boy found unresponsive on South Maple Street

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – On the evening of July 19, 2025, Pine Bluff Police officers were dispatched around 5:55 p.m. to 2501 South Maple Street after receiving a report of a man down.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive juvenile lying in the grass across the street from the address. The male was later identified as a 14-year-old, and despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced deceased by Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher.

Investigation Ongoing With Few Details Released

At this time, the Pine Bluff Police Department says the investigation is still in its early stages, and only limited details have been made public. Detectives are actively pursuing all leads and working to determine what led to the tragic death of the young teenager.
