Pine Bluff police searching for woman accused of security guard during store robbery

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Authorities in Pine Bluff are asking for the public’s help in locating 46-year-old Brandy Davis, who is wanted in connection with a robbery and second-degree battery that occurred on December 26, 2025, at the Dillard’s store located at 2901 Pines Mall Drive. The incident has left a 79-year-old security guard seriously injured and has drawn significant attention from both local law enforcement and the public.

Violent Confrontation During Attempted Theft

According to the Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD), employees at the store witnessed Davis filling an empty bag with merchandise before moving toward the checkout area. Instead of paying, she allegedly waited briefly in line, then ducked toward the store’s exit in an attempt to leave without paying for the items.

When two store employees and the elderly security guard attempted to stop her at the exit, Davis allegedly turned violent. Witnesses say she knocked down a female employee and then struck the security guard multiple times, leaving him with serious injuries. Dillard’s officials confirmed that the 79-year-old guard had to be hospitalized after the assault, but he has since returned to work.

Employees reportedly tried to de-escalate the situation by offering Davis a chance to return the merchandise or pay for it, assuring her they would not involve law enforcement if she cooperated. However, Davis refused the offer and fled the scene, prompting a police investigation and warrant for her arrest.

Public Assistance Requested

Brandy Davis is now wanted on charges of robbery and second-degree battery. The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. Those with tips can call the PBPD at (870) 541-5300 or the Detective’s Office directly at (870) 730-2090. Anonymous tips are also welcome through the department’s tip line at (870) 730-2106 or by visiting their website at www.pbpd.org.
