Pine Bluff woman wanted for first degree battery after June incident remains at large

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Pine Bluff Police Department is actively searching for 34-year-old Lacy Hoover, who is wanted in connection with a serious assault that took place on June 21, 2025. According to authorities, Hoover is facing a charge of Battery in the First Degree.

Investigators describe Hoover as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. While police have not publicly released details of the incident that led to the felony charge, the classification of Battery in the First Degree indicates that the case likely involves severe physical injury or the use of a weapon.

The department is asking for the community’s help in locating Hoover. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the detective office tip line at 870-730-2106, the detective office at 870-730-2090, or the dispatch center 870-541-5300.

Police have not yet confirmed whether Hoover is considered armed or dangerous but urge caution and advise residents not to approach her if spotted. Instead, the public is encouraged to contact authorities immediately with any tips or sightings.

As the investigation continues, officials hope public awareness will help bring Hoover into custody safely and without further incident.
