Police ask for help identifying two women who left Walmart with unpaid merchandise and almost caused a crash

Pine Bluff, Arkansas – The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two women linked to a major shoplifting incident that took place on Friday, July 25, at the Walmart Supercenter located on Olive Street.

According to Walmart’s asset protection team, the two suspects were caught on store surveillance cameras walking out with nearly $1,500 worth of unpaid merchandise. In total, 38 items totaling $1,484, pretax, were taken during the theft.

The women were last seen leaving the store parking lot in what is described as a newer model white Dodge Durango. Officers say the suspects fled at a high rate of speed and nearly hit another vehicle while exiting the area, further escalating concerns about their reckless behavior.

Investigators are working to obtain additional footage and information related to the incident. The vehicle’s make and color have been confirmed, but the license plate remains unknown at this time. Detectives believe the women may be connected to other recent thefts in the area, though that has yet to be confirmed.

Anyone who can identify the individuals or knows their whereabouts is urged to contact the Pine Bluff Police Department. Tips can be shared directly with the Detective Division at 870-730-2090, the tip line at 870-730-2106, or the dispatch center at 870-541-5300. All tips will be handled with discretion, and anonymous tips are welcome.

Authorities stress the importance of community cooperation to help solve this case and prevent further incidents. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
