Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is inviting students across the state to take part in a summer internship program within the Governor’s office. The opportunity is open to individuals interested in learning about public service and getting hands-on experience in state government.

“Internships are a great way to serve the people of Arkansas – and to learn about a career in public service. I encourage students who are looking to make a real difference to apply,” said Governor Sanders.

The unpaid internship will run from June 2 to July 25, requiring about 30 hours per week. The deadline to submit an application is April 11. Students can apply online and are encouraged to highlight which department they would like to work in.

Applicants may choose from several departments within the Governor’s office, including:

  • Advance & Coalitions

  • Boards & Commissions

  • Communications

  • Constituent Services

  • Legislative Affairs

The internship offers students a meaningful way to engage with the government while exploring a career in public service.
