Huntsville, Arkansas – A man from Madison County, Arkansas, was sentenced to 210 months (17.5 years) in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for his involvement in methamphetamine distribution. Arrest and Investigation
According to court documents, in October 2023, Arkansas Community Corrections (ACC) officers discovered that 47-year-old Clint Eugene Phillips of Huntsville was violating several conditions of his parole. In response, ACC officers scheduled a parole office visit for Phillips. Upon arrival at the parole office, Phillips was found in possession of 279.19 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
A subsequent search of Phillips’ residence by ACC officers and Madison County Sheriff’s deputies led to the discovery of additional drug paraphernalia, including clear plastic bags, digital scales, suspected methamphetamine, and stash bottles. Furthermore, an examination of Phillips’ cell phone revealed messages and financial transactions related to methamphetamine distribution.
