Two lucky Arkansas residents win big in instant lottery games

Three lucky Arkansans took home major prizes from the Arkansas Lottery in September

Arkansas – Two individuals in Arkansas struck it big with instant lottery tickets, landing substantial cash rewards.

Jeanene D. from Hot Springs Village is now $100,000 richer thanks to the Big 777 game, a new $5 scratch-off. She picked up her winning ticket at a local store called Grace Convenience Store, located at 468 W. Grand Ave., and officially claimed her prize on February 8th at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center.

Usually, Jeanene goes for the $20 scratch-offs and sometimes plays other lottery games like Powerball or Mega Millions. This time, her usual pick was sold out, so she tried her luck with Big 777 and won big. She found out about her win during a work break and was so astonished that she went straight back to the store to confirm her prize.

This win is the biggest Jeanene has had since she started playing lottery games. Previously, the most she had won was $2,500. With her new winnings, she plans to pay off bills and make much-needed repairs to her home. She’s also keen to keep playing in hopes of winning again.

Another Arkansas resident, Shawn D. from Smithville, also experienced good fortune with a $50,000 win from the $50,000 Blast game. His winning moment came after buying a ticket at the Tobacco Superstore #70 in Osceola. Shawn told the lottery he plans to buy a car for his son with his winnings.
